This fast growing platform has the 4th largest number of users compared to other social apps and caters to today’s surging popularity of video content. With 1.2 billion monthly active users in Q4 2021, TikTok is projected to reach 1.8 billion by the end of 2022.

Millions of user-generated short videos can be viewed on TikTok, and users can follow, like, and comment on each other’s videos.

As a business owner you may be wondering why we’re citing TikTok as a digital marketing trend to watch in 2023. 

The Tik Tok app is revolutionizing the way brands market themselves through influencer marketing with tools such as the Creator Marketplace, where brands are able to find creators who are aligned with their products and interests, and Tik Tok Shopping, which gives brands the opportunity to engage with customers more meaningfully, right inside the app itself.

Short Videos

According to Insider Intelligence B2B display ad spending on LinkedIn will total $3.01 billion in 2022 and grow to $4.56 billion by 2024. By then, LinkedIn will capture nearly 25% of all B2B digital ad dollars spent in the US.

Using LinkedIn as a platform for user-generated content has become easier than ever before. It has gained a lot of personality, and content has become more shareable especially video which is a great way for businesses to connect with their target audience.

Curated Content

A form of content seeing a renaissance of sorts is curated content. If you’re not familiar with this form of content it’s simply sharing content created by another source. The guiding principles of sharing curated content is that it must support your business, provide value to your audience, or validate and reinforce your own content. Types of curated content are:
